Copying content between separate tools breaks the trail. After a few steps, nobody knows which prompt, file or answer produced the final version.
Use the space for files, the chat for work, Scratch for handovers and Memory only for durable rules.
If an external tool is unavoidable, document what happened there and what result was brought back.
